Welcome
It's More than a Ribbon.....It's a Movement!
Thank You Crohn's Advocate magazine for helping get the word out. See the current issue with a full page ad for the Ribbon.
Here's what people are saying....
"I've lived with IBD for more than 25 years and have been fortunate to avoid major surgery. Unfortunately, many with IBD will undergo surgery that can result in an ostomy. I proudly wear my IBD and Ostomy Awareness Ribbon and support what Lois Fink and Barb Wodzin are trying to accomplish-greater awareness and acceptance by the IBD and ostomy community."--Mike McCready
"To me the ribbon is both a symbol of what I've dealt with and if I can wear it proudly and keep a smile on my face on even the most difficult of days then I become an example to others and in the process help erase any stigmas associated with IBD's and ostomies." Paul LaGrange

Get Your Guts in Gear is an amazing community of people who come together to raise awareness and provide support for those affected by Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis (IBD) - as patients, caregivers, and friends.
As part of our commitment to the IBD community, Get Your Guts in Gear produces a series of 3-Day rides that challenge the participants to push beyond what they think is possible. In the process, riders and crew form relationships that continue long past the finish line.
So, join us for a remarkable 3 days and experience the laughs, the hugs, the support, the friendship, and the community. It is truly more than a ride!
IBD Quilt Project generates public awareness for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis including complications such as colon cancer and ostomy surgery. The quilt panels tour and exhibit for education and support. Crafted by and for the inflammatory bowel (IBD) community, the quilts provide an outlet to express the thoughts and experiences of living with these diseases.
